We have been thru Midway so often...and had no idea this place existed. Keg n Kettle is a treasure. Great staff, the menu is all prepared in house. It is a grill..burgers, chicken soups and salads. A perfect French Onion soup, and a damned fine chocolate brownie topped with ice cream.
So happy to have found this wonderful gem while driving through Midway! Tummy's rumbling, we stopped and we're blown away by the amazing service, friendly staff, delicious food and lovely ambience! We will be back for sure!
Wonderful service and food! We brought our hockey team and parents (39ppl). Food was great and servers are amazing. Flawless and quick service for such a huge group! Highly recommend popping in to this cozy restaurant.
This is a gem and well worth the stop if you are driving by Midway...do not drive by! The menu is varied, food is great and it is all topped off with small town hospitality. The house that the business is run from is modern build Victorian. We chose to sit in the outside area as they welcome dogs. This was very much appreciated as it was a very hot day. I would highly recommend a stop. Fries are great.
Stopped here based on other reviews and it did not disappoint. Had the daily special, roast beef sandwich and clam chowder. The chowder was home made and delicious, and a home made pie for dessert, with actual pastry. Beautiful environment, in and out, friendly staff, five stars. Would happily eat here again.
Love this place. There are not a lot of places to eat between Beaverdell and Grand Forks and actually in Grand Forks as well. At least for good food. But we found this gem as we traveled through Midway. Didn't know that we would have to make reservations as it is always busy. However, they were able to accommodate us. When all the roads were shut down a few weeks ago we were stuck and didn't know what to do. One of the workers there helped us find a place to stay overnight, which we were very grateful for The atmosphere is very nice, they also have a patio for those who like being outdoors. We have not had a bad meal there and like to stop anytime we are in the area. They have also been able to change things when we had menu adjustments and they were just really nice. We will always be back any time we can. Highly recommend checking them out.
A hidden gem in a wonderful town. Not only is the service fantastic, but the food is too. The fries are seasoned but not too salty, and my chicken strips had so much flavour. Highly recommend the honey mustard that accompanies it. If you have room for dessert, try the homemade cake. Highly recommend the carrot. The icing is the perfect complement to the fluffy texture of the cake. Everything in this place feels comforting. The staff is friendly, the ambience is warm and the decor is beautiful. Will be back!
Always enjoy eating here. Food is great, servers are helpful and friendly, atmosphere is very good. It's our regular go to for out of town guests and birthdays.
